Kat Williams

Hi, I’m Kat Williams…

I have been teaching movement for eight years and working exclusively with pregnant and postpartum clients for the last four. We all know that exercise is important, but trying to figure out what is safe during pregnancy and postpartum can be a full-time job. Let me help!

Whether one:one caoching with a personalized exercise program is for you, or you're more of a classes person, I’d love to help you get moving.

Retired Professional Dancer.
Pre+Postnatal Movement Specialist.
Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.
Postpartum Doula. Nature Lover.

While attending Juilliard’s Dance Program I developed a chronic back injury. After school, I danced professionally for two years before deciding it was best for my long-term health to step away. I had always used Pilates to manage my injury, so in 2014 I decided to get certified as an instructor. Although I was working with all populations at the time, the majority of my clients were new parents dealing with injuries as a result of pregnancy and birth. I felt over and over that had these clients been given more information prior to having their baby, their pain could have been avoided. In order to better assist this population, I moved to Seattle to train as a doula and childbirth educator. PROnatal Support grew out of my dance education, personal injury recovery, and passion for women’s health.

Hear what my clients have to say…

“I started working with Kat halfway into my pregnancy and found the consistency of our sessions to be key in building the strength I needed for labour and beyond. Kat is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to learn about my body, my goals, and my environment to provide a customised plan and prepare me both physically and emotionally for my new normal. Kat’s effectiveness combined with her easy-going and judgement free attitude had me reaching out after birth and I’m so thankful we’re working together again to achieve my new goals.”

-Yasmin O.

“Katherine has literally changed my life - after just a few sessions I felt my core getting stronger, taking weight off of my back. Unlike many teachers, Katherine pays exacting attention to the specific details of your body, taking care to modify exercises to work on weaknesses, reduce pain, and build strength. She also has an easy-to-be-with personality, so sessions are not only effective but also enjoyable. After years of training with various trainers and instructors, I cannot recommend Katherine highly enough!!

-Claire E.

“Kat helped me to recover and start exercising again after my second baby. She is exactly what I need in a personal trainer: deep understanding of the human body, easy explanations, program that’s tailored to my everyday life. Add to that sunshine energetic personality and you have Kat! Pleasure to work with and very effective.”

Exercise doesn’t have to be something that is separate from the rest of your life.
You don’t need to set aside hours each week and have a “no pain, no gain” mentality.
Real change happens with regular, intentional movement integration and a good accountability partner.

That’s me!
